Turkish Football Federation Extraordinary Election General Assembly was held in Ankara with the participation of 231 delegates.
Of the 231 delegates attending the general assembly, 229 voted for the presidential election. Yıldırım Demirören, who won the votes of 221 of the delegates, became the new president of the Football Federation, while our Vice Chairman and General Manager, Mr. Edip EREN was elected as a member of the board of directors.
The Board of Directors of the Turkish Football Federation, chaired by Yıldırım Demirören, held a meeting with the participation of substitute members right after the Extraordinary General Assembly meeting in Ankara. No assignment was made at the meeting. The distribution of duties of the Board of Directors will be determined at the meeting to be held in the coming days.
